Srinagar – In a remarkable achievement, Dr. Rukhsar Sayeed, a young woman entrepreneur from Hyderpora, Srinagar, has made history by becoming the first Kashmiri contestant to be selected for the renowned cooking reality show, Master Chef India.
Dr. Rukhsar, who is known for starting the first ‘Frozen Food’ venture in the valley, has secured her place among the top 16 finalists of Master Chef India after a rigorous audition process that took place in June. Her culinary expertise and passion for food have propelled her into the final rounds of the highly competitive show.
In the official promotional video for Master Chef India, Dr. Rukhsar is seen expressing her enthusiasm for the culinary challenge, stating that she is ready to mesmerize the judges with mouth-watering Kashmiri cuisine. In 2019, after completing her PhD in Food Technology, she achieved a significant milestone by launching the first frozen food venture in the Kashmir Valley.
